New Teams

Eligibility

The Greater Seattle Soccer League is open adult soccer teams in the greater Seattle area. All nationalities, backgrounds and levels of skill are equally welcome. With as many as 20 skill divisions in four age groups (open, over-30, over-40, over-50 and over-55), we can place almost any team in a division of comparable competitive level.

Seasons

The GSSL plays year-round, with Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer sessions. The Fall and Winter sessions are nominally eleven weeks long, and the Spring and Summer sessions are shorter, seven-game seasons.

Fees

Fees vary from season to season, and according to type of home field desired. Fields can be park fields, usually cushion turf or other all-weather dirt surface, or school fields, many of which are artificial surface stadiums. The application for a particular season details the fees for that season's play. Team fees are collected at the time the application is filed with the league office. The GSSL only collects team fees from team officials. It does not collect team fees from the individual players that make up a team.
